Default Card Grading Is Upside Down

Posted By: Jeff Prizner

"Each grade should whistle a different note so the owner can know if the label's been switched. Off tone for off center cards."

Finally, a good idea!

If someone shoots the card with a bullet, would you be forced to surrender the dog tag?

I like it, Peter.

Nobody would put their cards in safe boxes anymore, they'd be like jewelry. We'd wear them around our necks and try to out-geek each other at shows. We'd be like nerdy Flava Flavs.

Very cool.

Multi-timbral, whistling slab necklaces with pop report dogtags. Excellent.

Who's gonna keep track of the pop's of the dog tags? Can we get another grading company to grade the dog tags? Will the dog tags be slabbed so you can't switch them?

In Rememberance of James W. Brennan Sr. 1924-1982. Dad, thanks for everything you did for me.

I like your ideas, especially the one about making the slabs whistle at a different note depending on the grade.

The real problem is that it is not profitable for the grading companies to provide a better service. So, SGC by guaranteeing their grading and allowing you to resubmit is probably the best alternative at this time.

Understanding Grading:

Very Good = pretty worn

Excellent = very good

Good = almost trash

Fine = trash

Poor = severely damaged trash
