A few years back a fellow collector and I were chatting about the same thing. He told me that my email was one of three that he'd given instructions for his wife to send messages too if he was gone with instructions on liquidating his cards. These were not vintage (I never looked at vintage cards until a year ago) but they were substantial in volume \ worth. Mine were too and so I gave my wife a note with his email and that of two others I chatted with regularly online as well. I felt like I knew these guys well enough to know they would not screw her over and get her the best value for the cards. I still think that today. Hopefully you can find such people. But obviously you have to "know" them as best you can first. |
