One hears what you are saying. On the other hand, just as a general matter not specifically related to this situation, there comes a point at which some people would not want to do business with someone who crossed a certain moral line in other business or personal dealings. For example, I might feel uncomfortable buying cards from a convicted child molester even though he was a perfect gentleman in card transactions. Similarly, others might feel uncomfortable buying cards from someone who (apparently allegedly whatever qualifier you want to use) swindled innocent folks out of money on pretenses of raising funds for charities including sick children. It's just a matter of personal judgment, so your point, while valid, is not the only relevant perspective. |
