Thorpe is on three cards by himself as a baseball player, two as a major leaguer. The m101-5, Zeenut and the e270 Colgan Tin Top which is a truly rare card. As mentioned, the m101-5 is not a true rarity, but it has a very high demand and very low turn over rate. I was lucky enough to finally obtain one a few years ago. This card will go nowhere until I die. It is the centerpiece of my collection. I don't track major auctions all that closely, but if memory serves me right, there have been just as many Zeenut's of Thorpe offered as there have been m101-5s in the past 5 years. |
