The card is mislabeled but not mis-pictured. Surely Topps is claiming that this sliver of wood is part of an Eddie Collins bat: It is next to impossible to identify a bat from Jimmy Collins's era as having been used in a game not to metnion having been used by by anyone in particular. Of course it is disgusting to contemplate someone actually cutting up an old game used bat or jersey. I keep hoping that the people at Topps, UD, et al who issue these cards are just lying about it. |
