To answer your question, that is glare from the scanner, nothing is missing on the face of the pin. It is very very good shape. It is a very strong grade 6. The guy at PSA told me he had never seen one like it. If you look in their Pop report, you will see that I have the only one ever graded. It coincided with the 1936 Spencer shoe promotion after Jimmie was traded to the Red Sox. I also have the Spencer shoe premium Card that was handed out at the same time. Off the top of my head, I can't recall if the premium is graded. I don't think so, because of it's large size. Not everything needs to be graded I guess. But I do it mostly for protection. I already know what the grade is when I buy something. Or at least what it should be. take care. |
