Default Need Diamond Stars help

I've been building this set in PSA 5 and am about 12% complete. On average, I pay $20-$25 for a common in PSA 5 (not including shipping).

This is for commons that are numbered 97 or less. 97-108 are very hard to come by.

In my humble opinion...

I think $50 is too much for a Kuyler that isn't in at least EX condition. I also wouldn't spend that much on the Lopez. You can get that one on Ebay for $75 or less in PSA 5+ (most days). Unless of course it's #97. If so, $250 is a decent price for a strong VG card.

The most important cards differ from collector to collector. It depends on if you're building the Master Set or just Basic set. This set has a few front variations, back colors and copyright dates, etc. Top three accoridng to Beckett value are #1 Lefty Grove, #103 Bill Dickey, and #54 Hank "Greenburg". Other key cards are Pie Traynor, Rogers Hornsby, Hank "Greenberg", and Jimmie Foxx to name a few. Also, like I said before, cards numbered 97-108 are tough to come by and are also considered high-value key cards.
