Frank WakefieldMy understanding is that there is slightly more demand for the 1915 cards above 144, ie 145-176. This is not because they are shortprinted. it is because some folks did and still do collect just trying to get 1 - 176, without great concern about whether a card is from the 1914 or 1915 issue. Also, there are a few cards that were in 1914 that didn't carry over to 1915, and there is a slight premium on the 1914 and 1915 numbers in that situation.
If that 1 - 176 without concern for the year seems nonsensical, consider that a fellow working on both at the same time would be more likely to get different cards as he progressed, initially, rather than trying for two of one guy, then two of the next...
