hmmm, sounds interesting...as a native new yorker, i love the idea of having a big show in my backyard, but not sure about the whole upscale, exclusive idea behind it...and this is coming from someone who collects T206 8's & 9's...how about a good old fashioned baseball card show in manhattan? doesn't need all the bells and whistles, just a cool venue...being a furniture designer, i goto the armory shows, and the pier shows many times a year...the best ones, are the ones where it is just the basics: tables and items (whether it be antique furniture, art or cards, less is more. |
