Great card, Marc. Seems odd now but 20 years ago a lot of us turned up our noses at "ghost images" and bizarre printing such as these. I remember many years ago turning down a T206 Bates because it was missing a color which left his uniform collar white. It was in exmt condition and sold for peanuts in an auction run by a guy whose name I can not remember but who used to have an extensive auction list about every 3 or 4 months and was the first person I knew who used the internet for baseball card auction sales. Anyone know who I am referring to???? |
