part of what made me think it was him was someone put on a photo some time ago from when Dizzy was in a later part of his broadcasting career and he had put on a lot of weight by then. ANd if that was Sam Jones next to him, I read Jones was 6 ft 5, so that still might work with Dizzy being 6 ft 2- and by the mid 50s Dizzy might have gone to seed even more. The guy in the photo does have that big smile Dizzy had and he certainly seems like the backslapper type, but I acknowledge he doesn't have the same head of hair Dizzy had. Ahhhh well. |
