I've never heard of a large vintage newspaper suppliment made out of cardboard. If the item is real, I would be surprised if it was distributed inside the newspaper as he describes ... His description is a bit mangled, as describes the item alternately as a premium and as a suppliment. It would have to be one or the other, not both, with a suppliment being distributed inside the newspaper. And nearly all to all large sized suppliments were on paper.
