What I got from the post if you read it correctly, Dan was saying someone tried to remove the "Red ink" ie. the "Boston" on uniform and the red stripes on hat. Many of the Boston players will be found with no red ink, or varying shades of the "Boston" visible (sometimes seen as a very light brownish-tan color). I have owned 3 Speakers like this, one had no "Boston" at all (missing all red ink), the other 2 had extremely light tannish colored "Boston" printed on the uniform. All three were sold for a much higher amount that a normal Speaker. I cant say for sure if this cards red ink was tampered with, but it sort of looks that way especially around the hat red ink lines.
