Sean, If you're still able to read these;

You are obviously very smart, excited and enthusiastic about collecting, those are desirable traits.

The old-time ballplayers were extremely proud and passionate about the Game and those that were in it just for the $ weren't favorites of fans nor the other players. I believe something very similar has occured in this Membership. Discussions of card values and profits cheapens those Players' legacy.

Think of this board as a kinda Baseball Card Library. The students remain quiet and absorb as much as they can before posting. You're young and full of energy. Many newer collectors (adults) read and learn from the messages here, but respectfully do not post because they don't have the knowledge yet.

In no time, you'll receive your library card and be a valuable contributer. Have you noticed that kids you've met and disagreed with in-time often became very good friends?..
