Origin of a possible E107 find

It really is amazing how few of the cards survived in anything better than Good. There are other sets just as rare, but the general overall condition seems to better for those. High grade examples are rarer than hens teeth. Anyone have any theories as to why this might be. The card stock is not the flimsy.

I thought I settled for a pretty brutal example for a type card, but after seeing a lot of examples, I think I got a pretty nice, even though it too is only a SGC10.
