Bob: the scan is definitely cropped. If you look at the enlarged scan of the "real" card (click on it and you will get a much bigger scan) you will see that the bottom and the left side were cropped so that the rounded corner was cut-out. In fact, all four sides were cropped. At the bottom of the enlarged scan of the real card you can also see what's left of some of the stains that were cropped (which gives you a good idea of just how much was lopped-off in the stolen scan).

Also, have you looked at the backs of the two scans? Much clearer (even with the cropping) that the two cards are identical.
