You know Chad: I have seen nothing that says that Leon played in the Negro Leagues before he played in the majors. The information which I cited says that he graduated to the Negro League following a brief period in MLB.

But that status does not invalidate my previous statement "Jackie Robinson wasn't the first ex-Negro Leaguer in MLB, Izzy Leon was". Although as you point out - my statement may not be correct - there may have been several ex-Negro Leaguers in MLB prior to Robinson - perhaps all of whom predate Leon.
