I don't think anyone is opposed to sharing. I think for a few it also has to do with wanting to stay in the background, not a need/desire to keep their cards from the public. I think if their was a website where scans of cards could be submitted on a "confidential" basis, and then they could be shared with the board but with the owner not revealed, it would bring out more cards to the public. Maybe a network 54 gallery or an Old Cardboard gallery. Maybe collectors could confidentially submit scans to Old Cardboard and under the reference section, people could see all of the cards in the set and not just a sample. My two cents. Leon, do you want another project on top of the 15 hours a day you monitor the board? |
