The T5s in cabinet form (with cardboard mount) have not been reprinted as far as I know. The player images are real photo, as opposed to a lithograph or such. This means the images have no dot pattern.

Look for silvering in the unmounted T5 photos. Silvering is a silvery, mirror-like effect that appears in the dark areas of some old photos. It can be seen in person, when holding the photo at an angle to the light. As silvering is an aging process, it is a strong sign of old age for a photo. Also, photo paper back then was thin, even thinner than the average 1950s photo paper. I have seen few if any real photo (no dots) reprints of the unmounted photos, so I don't think reprints is a big concern like with T206s and Goudeys.

The Pinkerton postcards, which is a separate issue, does have dot pattern.
