Best way to remove stains

For a coffee stain, you probably need to go to an expert in paper restoration, and it won't be cheap. For glued on paper, it all depends on the type of glue. If it's water soluble, you can carefully wet the excess paper with, for example, a crumpled up paper towel. Once you apply enough water, the paper will come free. Usually, the water does no harm, but there's always a risk. If the glue is not water soluble, I think you may have to go to a paper restorer.
