Default Forgotten Harry Heilmann?

Posted By: Chris Counts

I don't have a vintage card of Harry, but I know there are a couple Zeenuts and quite a few exhibit cards of him. He inconveniently started his career just as the golden era of tobacco cards was ending, and he retired just a year before the first golden era of bubble gum cards began. The exhibit cards of the 1920s are quite nice, much more attractive in my opinion than the more common ones from the 40s, 50s and 60s. And while they're not exactly cheap, they're still reasonably affordable. Harry also shows up in the 1940 Play Ball set, just eight years after the end of his career ...
