mike i'm the same as you.grading cost $.i'm on a budget.so i find ungraded cards are cheaper to buy and would rather spend my $ on more cards.i have bought many graded cards. all my 50's and 60's stuff i have cracked out as my sets are in 9 pocket pages. i have never sent a card in to be graded,but i do like the look of the sgc holders so i might take the plunge and send some of my low end pre war t/e's to sgc. as of now i just put all the better pre war cards in the lucite holders. i do wish somebody would start selling the black backgronds for lucite holders (t and e cards). |
