Yes, by a real stroke of luck the Mattern managed to escape the robbery. I originally acquired the card about 3 years ago, sold it maybe 6 months after. I had always regretted the decision to sell it, so when it turned up in the hands of a fellow board member, we managed to work out a deal so that I could get it back. This was only a few months ago. It just so happened that the proof was sitting in my mailbox that very week my apartment was broken into, and therefore managed to escape. Silver lining, I guess you could call it. |
