In fact I'd bet on it. Note that they also might have picked up on the fact that the m101-5 was issued in 1916, but did not. They speculated that the card was either in error listing him as a Giant-remarkable coincidence since he became a Giant for the first time on December 23, 1915--or that it was printed in that brief window when Kauff jumped to McGraw's team. Guess you can't beat 'em up too bad though, seems the hobby as a whole allowed the m101-5 date to be wrong for 85 years. |
