Should PSA do half grades?

Your math is not right, but you have clearly identified the problem with this change should PSA undertake it. Stastically half of the cards should be in the wrong holders since they would be doubling the number of grades for the same number of cards; however with the further refinement they would probably actually get a higher percentage into the wrong holder as the degree of theoritical accuracy increases they would have a smaller grading target to shoot at.
