I agree with much of the sentiment already stated. I don't judge people by mistakes they make - we all make mistakes - but I feel you can judge people by the way they handle them.

I knew you might use the edit feature to cover your butt, that's why I kept the original text from your post and sadly you didn't disappoint. Silly rabbit, tricks are for kids. Dave, what you should have come clean as soon as you were busted. It's kinda ironic you thought users of this board were smart enough to answer your questions but dumb enough to fall for your story.

I do agree with Greg that as far as hobby transgressions go this is a small one and no reason to make it a big one out of it. Sadly Greg is right about the lack of enthusiasm about letting information out these days but I think there are still some collectors who are willing to help others and don't deserve to be lied to.

Heck, around here abuse is a sign of acceptance so if you take some grief consider yourself "in."

After all, you were smart enough to come here to get answers so you can't be all bad.
