I read an article online a couple of years ago (can't find it now; maybe someone else has a link to it) from a collector who claimed to have data for a very large, more or less random, sample of PRO graded cards from various ebay sellers sent to PSA for crossover. I don't remember the exact percentage, but I believe it was right around 95% came back "Evid Trim". If we assume PSA was guilty of no false positives or false negatives in these cases, we can estimate that approximately 5% of PRO cards have not been trimmed. Gotta love those odds. |
