Slightly OT -- My Weekend

The best thing you can do is to build a rapport with whoever is in charge of the collection and let him know you are honest and trustworthy. In time, you may be allowed to purchase it or help him sell it. If the owner is that old, chances are that is a collection that will be on the marketplace. Good luck with it.
