Uh-huh. Hard to know where to begin with this listing, but I'll start with the card. What is the point of displaying a reprint of a Ruth card next to the "authentic" Ruth home run ball? To show us how big a baseball is? To remind us who Ruth was? To suggest to potential bidders that they'll also receive the card and should assume, since not otherwise specified, that it's an original and that the seller simply failed to mention it? I'm not an autograph collector, so maybe someone could help me with my own question. How often did Ruth sign "Babe" in quotes? I'm not sure I've seen this before. |
