Julie, the most amazing thing I discovered when I moved to Seattle was the rosemary bushes. People grew rosemary in the midwest, but it was like the fuzz on a chia pet. And in Seattle, people had rosemary has bushes five feet high that they had to (gasp) trim with the hedge clippers. When Wisconsinites visited for the first time, I would make sure to take them to Pike Street Market (touristy), the sound and to see the mammoth rosemary bushes around the neighborhood.
