Did you ever notice that most questionable high dollar cards always seem to be heavily damaged in and around the area which identifies the card as the rarity? The size shape and placement of lettering on T206 cards varies quite a lot across the different subjects. It's very consistent however when you compare examples of the same card. Look through a couple Mastro catalogs to find a few authentic Magie cards pictured. Look closely at the lettering on each card. The lettering on all the cards is distinctly the same. Does the lettering of the card in question look the same as the authentic cards pictured in the Mastro catalog? |
