The Hanna bat company made bats from 1929 to the early 1970's. They were located in Athens, Georgia. The site of the original factory is there although it is being used for something else now. Among other things, they were the company that developed the cupped-end bat that is still very popular today. Among the desirable labels, besides the bat logo, are the Georgia Cracker label and WTA barrel labels. Both store and game models have the player's name in block letters. |
