My brother bought a two dollar book on ebay and found a 1962 Topps baseball 1 cent wrapper inside. I was at an auction a couple of years ago and while looking at the old books I discovered about 5 or 6 of them had come from the library of J. Sterling Morton who was the founder of Arbor Day....Only one of them had his name written in it..the rest all had a sticker that said they were from his library. Unfortunately I wasn't the only one to notice and I let the other guy have the book for $50...I had no idea how much it would be worth. I picked up a few of the other books that came from his library for a couple bucks each. |
