Baseball advertising items started being forged I would guess somewhere in the 1990s with the explosion of baseball memorabilia. Ebay made it easier to pass off fake items. Computers have made it easy for people to make their own little print shops and now we're seeing items that never used to be faked like "Fan for a Fan", Ty Cobb Candy, Babe Ruth Candy Bar wrappers, et cetera. |
