I don't know if I could put Ruth up that high. Admittedly, he was a great pitcher with a phenomenal winning percentage, and even better ERA, but I don't think he pitched long enough to qualify as one of the dead ball era greats, at least not in the top 10. Joss didn't play too long either, but he at least had a few more years than Ruth. |
