But not too long ago, many international buyers preferred using $U.S., as they were often charged a ton for international bank checks and similar. Also most countries were happy to receive $US as payment (as opposed to, say, the Peso) ... With some regularity, I buy and sell to international folks-- mostly in Europe and almost always involving PayPal-- and have not encountered any troubles.
