Autographed T-206 Cards

I'm familiar with the collecting area (autographed Pre-War cards), and think it's a fine genre. Signed Pre-WWI cards can be found but are limited. T206s are about the most common, signed E cards are tough. Signed Old Judges, good luck. Signed later cards, like Goudeys and Play Balls, are much more available. Even in the old days, baseball cards were a common item to get signed, both in person and through the mail.

I have seen signed T206s of Ty Cobb, Eddie Cicotte, Cy Young and Nap Lajoie(? may just be imagining that one), with the cards typically good to fair. The famous autograph collector Jeff Morey got a T206 signed by Cobb is a coffee shop or restauraunt, and it's possible that one or more of your Marquards came from Morey's collection. In general, even signed T206s are limited in number and it's a special event to own one.
