I just spoke with Lew and I stand corrected (I've never heard of being seated corrected). You do NOT have to have the high bid to be "successful". As he explained to me, even if there is a proxy bid above your bid, you will still be the high bidder for a moment....so ANY accepted bid, above the lot's current level, is a successful bid...hope this clears it up....now bid away (except on what I am bidding on) |
