Default Who's next in the HOF from the old days??

I agree that many, many Veterans Committee selections were huge mistakes. I also agree that if you can't get in through the front door, that's a pretty good indicator that you don't belong. But what about Johnny Mize and Arky Vaughan? I think these were two truly outstanding players and the Hall would be a poorer place without them. I guess the bottom line is that it's impossible to design a perfect system. If you want to avoid embarrassing omissions, like Mize and Vaughan, you're going to get a whole bunch of Rixeys and Hafeys. And I'm not sure which of the two choices is worse.
