Default Forum appreciation thread!

Caution: This is a little sappy!

First off, I'd like to give a BIG thanks to Elliot for providing the vintage collecting community with this great forum.

I would also like to give thanks to all the collectors on this forum who have been incredibly gracious in sharing both their knowledge and their opinions on all aspects of the hobby.

I have only been a member for a few months and I don't post often, however, I think that this Fourm represents one of the few outlets for honest discussion about vintage cards and memorabilia. In the short time that I have been coming to this forum, I have learned more then I ever thought I would. Every opinion, every argument, every discovery, and every question posted on this forum has made me a better and more knowledgable collector.

In time I hope to get to know each of you better and I hope that as my collecting knowledge expands, that I will someday be as informative and helpful to a newcomer on this forum as all of you have been for me.

It is the strict dedication to collecting and to the sport of baseball by members of this forum that keeps this hobby alive, keeps the bad guys out and keeps the lives and accomplishments of the games past heroes from fading into obscurity. Elliot, you should be proud of what you've started here. This is a special place.

Thanks,
Adam
