I find it easier to take a hammer and semi-gently tap the back of the screwdriver, moving it slowly all around, until the screwdriver goes through. (All of this assumes you've discovered you have to turn the GAI upside down, and see that the back nestles inside the front, so you're hammering straight down, not sideways--like you would be with other holders [which pry apart nicely with a steak knife after a few saws]). |
