I would say no because ive seen notes on newer packs that states (in my own words) that they dont guarantee any future value of the cards in the packs,maybe they had a problem in the past.....and from what ive seen topps makes no mention of a certain condition the cards will be in,so basically you can get a poor condition one like you got or a gem mint condition one because they only say its an authentic card,no mention that it could be altered which im sure they didnt check every card that came in for the giveaway for....i would say youre lucky you even got a hall of famer because 99% of them were commons |
