I would say the card is authentic. There are three problems, however. The first is that the thinner, gothic-type font on the reverse side appears to be too bold for the El Principe De Gales reverse; but that is easily explained by extra ink on the printing plate or perhaps a slight photoshop adjustment. The second is that the reverse appears to be abnormally toned compared to the relatively fresh, white obverse of the card. Again, the storage method or contrast adjustment might explain this characteristic. The third problem is that the card is too narrow left-to-right. I would surmise this to be the result of trimming or a possible factory miscut. In either case, the card does not appear to be "legal tender" as far as a legitimate grading company is concerned. |
