It's always great to hear of a baseball book or two I haven't read. (There aren't many.) But in case there is an earthling remaining who hasn't read it, Lawrence Ritter's "The Glory of Their Times" is simply the best. Especially for those of us who collect early 20th century baseball. The first time I read it, I got to the end and basically started it again. It's that good. |
