Default PSA updated service times

PSA updated service times to reflect when cards get to their facility to when they expect them to be graded. See the times below. To me this absolutely insane, bulk is 6 months! All the vintage collectors know it will likely be longer because PSA desperately does not want to grade vintage cards. When this Pokemon crashes occurs, I will be throwing a party.

Value Bulk-> 95 business days
Value -> 75 business days
Value plus -> 40 business days
Value max -> 30 business days
Regular -> 20 business days
Express -> 15 business days
Super express and above -> 7 business days

Judging by how many TPC they are grading, you will be waiting a looooooooooong time for a crash.

I think they’re at minimum going to see a submission slow down soon. Many Pokemon cards are down over the last 3-4 months from my understanding.

Is Fanatics big enough to buy PSA and kill the brand. That would be quite the payback, wouldn’t it?

I could die happy if that scenario really played out.

I don’t know if PSA shifted some orders to new workflows, but this Value order of mine estimated to be done Jan. 7 went from Prep through Assembly in 3 weeks.

Please, Fanatics has cornered the market on nearly everything and has made things worse in the process. Never wished downfall on a company more.

Let’s keep soliciting more submissions for each monthly special when they can’t even process the backlog they have already. Makes sense to anybody? Not to me.

Default Submission

I gave an in person submission in Philadelphia in Sept for 2 value orders and a Value Max

The orders were all recieved the same itme and logged 9/19. I have an estimated of 12/22 on the value and I have been corresponding with Customer service on the Max order that wasnt even logged in I paid more for!

Need less to say the screwed up and just this week the are "working" on it while they submit for some amount of a credit voucher for my troubles.

I think it will be years before I ever submit anything to PSA again except maybe a reholder

I cant wait to see how dissapointed I will be with their amateur grading results on pre war

It’s good to see you’re being optimistic that they’ll even grade pre war. All of my low end SGC pre war cross over submissions do not get cracked. I put authentic as the minimum grade and they still won’t cross.

I became a member of PSA Collectors Club last year and have been sending in one submission a month since joining. My submissions are normally value bulk at least 20 cards valued at $400 or less, and I am in no hurry to receive my cards back. While it is expensive, I've enjoyed the process, and will update my Collectors Club subscription for at least one more year. I've been uncharged just one time for a 1948 Bowman Yogi Berra RC submission that graded a PSA 3 VG.

I even got PSA to add a set to the registry (60s non sports insert set), and currently have the number one set (well it's the only set lol) on the registry. It's been fun.

Just a few minutes ago my FedEx driver "Bo" had me sign for my latest box of slabs from PSA.

I filled out the submission form (it's really simple) on June 27, and mailed the cards the same day. USPS Ground Advantage no extra insurance. This was a June Vintage Sports and Non Sports Special and I sent in 20 cards.

Cards were noted as "Arrived" at PSA on July 1st and they were in my possession today November 24th, so nearly five months. I had offers from PSA to buy seven of my cards and I sold four of them to help offset my grading costs. One card was not slabbed, as it was deemed altered.

The previous submission was a value bulk submission of 44 cards. PSA charges were $949 and I had offers from PSA on 24 of my cards. I sold them four cards which totaled $995 so $50 more than my grading fees. I thought the offers were fair, and sacrificed four of my cards to pay for the 40 slabs.

Flag on the play.

I don't think you're permitted to say anything nice about PSA around here.

Don’t know how I caught such a lucky break, but this order wrapped nearly a month earlier than the projected Jan. 7 date — and the grades were actually higher than I expected. MERRY CHRISTMAS, I guess!

Brent:

You cheated, sent in modern cards, those are much easier for them to grade. They can use the same graders that handle TCG, im sure they have plenty of those. It's the vintage experts that seem to be lacking on staff.

Was hoping I'd have these in time for the October Pre War auction. It would be funny if I didn't have consignors wanting to know what the hell is going on.

My 5 card vintage order was marked as arrived on October 20.
Still hasn't changed status and it is almost 2 months later now.

It reminds me of the battered wife who keeps going back to her abuser. No better time to break free!
