Default Upcoming Vintage Trade Night in New York City (Early 2026)

Hi everyone,

Sammy here from 4Collectors.

I’m in the process of organizing a vintage-focused trade night in New York City early next year and wanted to gauge how much interest there might be from collectors in the area. The plan is for an afternoon gathering centered around trading, good conversation, and sharing some great vintage material. There will also be pizza and gift bags for attendees.

More details will be shared in the coming weeks as planning continues. 4Collectors will be partnering with a few familiar names in the hobby to make this event happen.

Appreciate the support, and I’d love to hear from anyone in or near NYC who might be interested in attending.

Best,
Sammy Thunder (4Collectors)

Sammy,

Great idea. We need more of these happening in the vintage community.

I’m not in the area, but can say that anything Sammy is a part of will be a huge success! I’d encourage anyone that can, jump in!

Best of luck brother!

Thanks Matt. The title should actually read (Early 2026, not 2025).

Depending on when (and where) it is, I'd be interested.

We used to do "NYC Dinners" back in the day (circa 2005-2015). We did a bunch of them over the years, typically a nice steak dinner, everyone would bring cards and do a "show & tell". An occasional trade would happen, but mostly friendly collectors getting together to shoot the sh*t about the hobby. Those were fun...Leon came to one, and many collectors here were regulars (Me, Jeff L, Joe D, Robert S, Wonka, Barry S, Dar S, Al C, etc...)

FYI: If you hit the edit button on your OP, then hit "advanced," you can change out the title.

I'd be down to fly up and bring some of my fun cards to show and share with others. That sounds like a great day, and a model already proven by guys like Andrew F. and Ryan H. with their Virginia meetup over the past few years.

Sammy, we had many, many NYC Dinners over the years...Spark's, Peter Luger's, Morton's, Keen's, etc.

Leon, was it a Brazilian Steakhouse we went to when you came?
.

Yes, and I think that the Bruce's might have walked his tab. Or it could have been an issue with his chauffeur.

Would love to be apart of a trade night. Hell a steak dinner sounds excellent to me as well. Might as well bring it back!

I went to the dinner right before the Covid shutdown. Definitely a fun night. Forget where we went though.

I would be interested in attending any gathering. Whether or not I bring cards would depend on location and time/date. Sounds like fun though!

Leonelli Taberna, end of January 2020... The restaurant has closed since then. (That was the smallest of the three dinners I organized...) Even Pete U. was in town for two of them!
