I don't disagree, but the league itself can't be dominated by 1/3rd of the markets - the top 10 markets - like it has been. The NFL has a garbage product on the field but a superior product off the field. The salary cap and revenue sharing is what has built their high platform. Baseball needs to shift towards the NFL off-the-field model.

Oh no... a player's union crying about unfair wages and working conditions while wiping their tears with handfuls of Benjamins. Poor them.

I'm fully ok missing some baseball in 2027 if it means getting the structure within baseball resolved so that all 30 markets have a more equal opportunity shot at a World Series. I'm not on either side, owner nor player. I simply want smaller markets to be able to retain their homegrown superstars.

Maybe after going a year without any pay they will change their minds. You know they said they would never agree to drug testing too.
