FS: 4 LEFT - PSA Graded (19) T206 HOFers and Others - Awesome Cards - Great Prices

Beautiful lot of 19, mostly newly graded T206’s including Hall of Famers and Commons. These cards went through the gauntlet of the newer PSA grading process and some of the grades simply don’t make any sense. Check them out for yourself. Finer examples are tough to find for some of these tougher cards. Also, the children doing the grading don’t appear to ever have seen a T206 before.

Chief Bender (HOF) Tolstoi - No Trees - PSA 5 (MK). I cannot find a “MK” anywhere on this card. Im assuming they are referring to the small tobacco stain on the rear of the card but I simply don’t know. If doesn’t sell I will send to SGC for cross-grade. The TOTAL PSA Population for this card is just 12 graded cards across all grades. There is only 1 card graded higher than this one.

Roger Bresnahan (HOF) Sweet Cap - PSA 3 (MK). Once again…NO Mark. I assume they are referring to the very light area of wet-sheet transfer on the back but this has never been considered a “MK” by PSA but seems to be this is the kick they are on. Otherwise beautiful card.

Mordecai Brown (HOF) Sweet Cap 350-460/25 - PSA 5 - PWCC-A! Incredible Eye-Appeal POP 2 Only 1 graded higher. This is an absolutely gorgeous example. Check out the Pop 9 Piedmont that recently sold in an eBay auction for $2600. This one is nicer.

Ty Cobb (HOF) Sweet Cap - Portrait Red - PSA 3 - Beautiful registration with a flawless front surface, tough to find at this grade. New Slab.

Kid Elberfeld - Piedmont - NY - PSA 6 MC - I have seen similar cards without the qualifier (being the whole name and team shows). Anyway. POP 2 only 1 higher! Of the 107 Piedmont 150 PSA graded examples of this card, only 2 have earned a PSA 6 and only ONE has been graded higher.

George Gibson (Canadian Baseball HOF) Piedmont 150 - PSA 6 (MC) - Off center Top to Bottom but seriously, Look at this freshly never previously graded PSA slab! Out of pack condition for this star.The last transaction for a PSA 6 for this card was $870 (in 2024) so this card is priced hundreds less due to the qualifier.

Bob Groom - Piedmont - PSA 5(MK) - This one actually has the owners mark on the back. Legit “MK”. Perfect centering with this pristine card.
