Hoping this isn't too off topic, but a number of people in this thread have mentioned scanners. Which ones do you use? I have a multi purpose thingee and long ago gave up trying to use it to scan cards for all the reasons that have been mentioned.

You need one that can pick up depth. Pretty sure that's called CCD functionality. There's one that's real popular around here Epson V something? I forget, because that's not the one I bought.

Personally, I also wanted one that could handle jumbo stuff, since I was tired of standard size scanners not accommodating a full scan of my jumbo pieces. So I picked up this version, which has worked fine. It is a beast, so you will need somewhere to store it, unless you want it to take up your whole desk all the time.

Correct, get an Epson Perfection V600 Photo and be done with it. Nuff said.

Back to the original question about traction on the BST. I have been having some fun with the $1 auctions ending on Sunday nights, lately. I have some low value, but collectible, cards on there. And will continue to.
It gets stuff off of my desk at no cost and on my schedule. It doesn't have the furthest reach, but does a $30 card really need it?

Always bumping your sold posts to let everyone know it's sold is a great idea.

This annoys me probably more than it should.

Also, how *not* to get traction on the BST : bump your listing over and over again for months (or even years) without ever lowering the price.

Yes, it is a real Paulie Walnuts move to bump your sold listing(s) above people still trying to sell their item(s).
