Of the foreign issued Ruth cards, I like the German issued Abdullah the best. It shows Ruth leaning on a bat in sepia colorization. You don't see it often at auction, so I am unsure of current pricing.

1930s Josetti-Filmbilder - Tobacco Series 1 #151 - Babe Ruth, Harold Lloyd [SGC 4.5 VG/EX+]

This is another inexpensive European issue, with Black and White picture of Ruth, which I like better than most of his drawn images during his playing days cards. Although I like the Bulgaria better than this one, because it shows Ruth in the Yankees uniform instead of a suit. I have both of these cards, plus just got a 1948 Newark News coin:

It all depends. Sometimes, not very often anymore, something raw will slip through the cracks. You have to look "outside the box", away from folks like us, that is, the collectors and sellers who know the value of such things. Not often in this instant information era, but infrequently it does still happen.
